About The Inventor

Mike Davis

Michael S. Davis

As the Assistant Project Manager at Wanzek Construction since August 2021, Michael Davis has been instrumental in the successful execution of wind and solar power plant construction projects. With his expertise in Systems Engineering and a PhD Dissertation focused on designing Aeolian Dynamics, LLC’s innovative 50-foot “Cascaded Wind Turbine” prototype, he has been able to bring a unique perspective to his role. So far, Davis has played a vital role in the construction of over one gigawatt of electrical power generation capacity, making a significant impact on the industry.

Michael Davis founded Aeolian Dynamics in April 2019 and created a 5-foot diameter “Cascaded Wind Turbine” prototype with promising results. He left Arrow in March 2020 to concentrate on his PhD research on the “Cascaded Wind Turbine.”

From August 2018 to March 2020, Michael Davis served as an Aeronautical Engineer at Arrow Aviation while pursuing a Doctorate in Systems Engineering from UL. In this role, he designed Supplemental Type Certificate modifications and performed electrical load and structural analyses for helicopters, preparing comprehensive data packages for the FAA.

From May 2016 to August 2018, Michael Davis earned a second Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (UL). During this time, he developed a passion for renewable technologies and came up with the concept of the “Cascaded Wind Turbine” while on a two-month camping trip in the deserts of New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. After gaining approval from UL’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the “Cascaded Wind Turbine” became the focus of his original thesis.

From October 2014 to May 2016, Michael Davis worked as a Design Engineer at Franks International while pursuing an MBA from UL. In this role, he designed and developed mechanical oilfield products and systems, managing projects from concept to commercialization. He earned his MBA in May 2016.

From May 2011 to October 2014, Michael Davis served as an Operations Engineer at Expro Americas, where he designed customer, job, and well-specific equipment and equipment configurations known as Landing Strings, as well as creating associated Operations and Equipment Manuals.

Before embarking on his engineering career, Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from UL.
